5 Bulls that Won. Bulls never really win a bull fight but these bulls still managed to win a little bit. Bull fights are not fair by any means. Lets hope bull fighting gets banned soon.
5. Deslio and Feten
Last month something unique happened. It had not happened in 35 years. After barely an hour of action, a bullfight in Madrid's prestigious Las Ventas ring was stopped because all three of the bullfighters on the day's bill had been injured. Two matadors were gored and a third was tossed into the air. The two bulls were Deslio and Feten. We don't know which one did the most damage, but they both went out with a bang!
Avispado took out one of Spain's most famous bullfighters; Francisco Rivera Pérez, known as Paquirri. During a fight in 1984 the bull gored Avispado's leg so bad that he later died. Not ofcourse before the bull had already been killed by another group of matadors…
In 1984 Burlero took out a 21 year old matador nicknamed El Yiyo. A few months before that, El Yiyo's best friend Alvaro Munera- also a matador – had been confined to a wheelchair by a bull named Terciopelo. Munera ( pictured above ) became a hardcore animal rights defender and nothing less than the Antichrist for bullfighting. He currently works in the Council of the City of Medellin, using his position to defend the rights of disabled people and to promote anti-bullfighting campaigns. Very admirable!
A month after he killed his 1000th bull in 1947, Manolete's killing spree came to an end at the hands of a bull named Islero. A bull of the same Miura breed that killed Manoletes' great uncle and many other famous Spanish matadors.
Opiparo went out with a loud bang in 2010. Opiparo got a good hold of Julio Aparicio and gored him through the neck and out of his mouth by its right horn. Ofcourse, two other matadors stepped right in and slew Opiparo but Opiparo left the world with some pictures that may have aspiring bullfighters think twice about their career path…
