A young football fan has died after he was struck in the head by fencing while watching a match.
Twelve-year-old Tiverton High School pupil Olly Croker was airlifted to a Bristol hospital after the incident in Devon on Saturday.
Head teacher Andrew Lovett expressed his “great sadness” that Olly had died of his injuries on Monday night.
The injury happened while the schoolboy was watching the Bradninch v Bampton cup tie.
