Former footballer Paul Gascoigne has won £188,250 in phone-hacking damages from Mirror Group Newspapers.
The payout to the former England international was one of eight announced at London’s High Court.
It follows a three-week hearing in March to determine the extent of wrongdoing and decide on compensation.
Other celebrities to win payments include former soap stars Lucy Benjamin and Shobna Gulati, who will receive £157,250 and £117,500 respectively.
