Final preparations are being made for the MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow.
The event, which has attracted some of the biggest names in the music industry, will be held at the Hydro on Sunday night in front of thousands of fans and a television audience of millions.
Nicki Minaj will host the awards and there will be performances from her, Ed Sheeran, U2 and Alicia Keys.
DJ Calvin Harris has pulled out of the show due to illness.
On Twitter, he is reported to have said: “No EMAs for me this weekend. Got some heart problems. Heading home to see if it can be fixed x.”
Organisers have also revealed some behind-the-scenes facts about the MTV EMAs ahead of the show.
Six thousand two hundred and thirteen miles (10,000km) of cable have been installed to power the event, and a wiggery has been installed backstage to accommodate 500 wigs and 300 hairpieces.
Twenty two hairdressers and 40 make-up artists will assist the acts while 80 costumes have also been prepared.
The dressing rooms contain a number of treats, including a limited edition 10-year-old Highland single malt whisky from Glengoyne.
Meanwhile, each presenter and performer will be given presents including diamond and crystal jewellery, condoms, and SpongeBob SquarePants socks.
