Catch some true legends from the music world in spectacular surroundings, as Greenwich Music Time returns to the historic Old Royal Naval College.
This four-day series of gigs takes place alongside the Thames, close to the historic college and the bright lights of Canary Wharf. Now in its second year, this newcomer to the festival scene is already hosting big name performers.
Following the likes of Goldfrapp and Russell Watson last year, 2015 sees Kinks frontman Ray Davies, and Welsh superstar Sir Tom Jones take to the stage. Davies, whose output has influenced countless other artists, will perform hits such as You Really Got Me, Postcard from London and Days. Jones, meanwhile, takes a break from television’s The Voice to return to his natural stage habitat, where audiences can expect to hear the likes of Black Betty, Delilah, Sex Bomb and It’s Not Unusual.
With stellar support from the Gipsy Kings and George Benson, this festival on the Thames looks set to go from strength to strength.
