US actor Harrison Ford has been injured in a small plane crash in Los Angeles, US media report.
He was reportedly piloting a single-engine plane that crashed onto a golf course in Venice, near the Santa Monica Municipal Airport.
Aerial footage showed a plane on the ground and one person being treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital, NBC in Los Angeles reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The news was first reported by TMZ and then confirmed by other US media.
TMZ said Ford suffered “multiple gashes to his head” and he was treated at the scene by two doctors who were at the golf course, before being taken to hospital.
Later this year, the 72-year-old was due to reprise the role of Han Solo in the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
