Jackie is half german/ half brazilian. Growing up in both places she studied music and philosophy, started playing piano at 4 years old. She dropped out of college and got an internship at warner, where she found her love and knack for songwriting.
After moving to LA from NYC and learning perfecting that craft, she was actually banned from the united states for a bit and almost forced back into her routes in brazil, which was in fact the plan at some point, just ended up being earlier than expected. Afraid of losing touch to the music industry she became close and familiar with the brazilian market.
Writing for some of the biggest names out there as well as in London, where she spent a lot of time. During this process, she found herself encouraged and pushed to pursue her career as an artist, now releasing the first proper EP “The Reformation”. She agreed, but only if a group of producers she had worked with out in brazil, “The Dogz” (production for Anitta, Lexa, Major Lazer etc) agree to produce it with her. A few months later she is finally releasing her first 2 singles and announced the project. Anything for U is a pop/ rock anthem. A love song per say, whereas Suave showcases brazilian upbeat club/ funk vibes. This is her rebirth. There is much to the story and even more to come.
