Lemmy, Motorhead frontman, dies aged 70 after cancer battle

Motorhead frontman Lemmy has died aged 70 after battling against cancer, the band has said on its Facebook page.
Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, who was born in Burslem, Staffordshire in 1945, was the only constant member of the British rock band.
The band said in a statement: “Our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer.
“We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words.”
