Police remain at the house where the woman’s body was found on Saturday
A woman found dead at a house in Cambridgeshire had been beheaded, the BBC understands.
The body of the woman in her 30s, named locally as scientist Samantha Ho, was found at the house in Curlew Place, St Neots, on Saturday. Witnesses said her head and body were found separately.
A post-mortem examination concluded she died from “multiple cuts to the neck”.
Timothy Allen, 40, from Curlew Place, has been charged with murder and appeared before magistrates earlier.
The woman was found after armed officers, called by the ambulance service, forced entry to the house.
