Two teenagers arrested after a 14-year-old boy died in a suspected firearms incident have been released on bail.
The boy was fatally wounded at a property in Thurston on Sunday afternoon and died later at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today. Police said they were continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The identity of the boy who died has not yet been released.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said: “At this early stage, police believe there was a discharge of a firearm.”
The teenagers have been told to return to Bury police station on 16 June.
