Mark Selby will play China’s Ding Junhui in the World Championship final after overcoming Marco Fu 17-15 to win a tense semi-final.
Earlier, Ding beat Alan McManus 17-11 to become the first Asian player to reach the final.
The qualifier took three of the four frames played on Saturday and his seven century breaks was a record for the most centuries in a Crucible match.
The Chinese player takes on 2014 winner Selby, in the best of 37-frame final.
