Molly was covered in blood when she was dumped over a garden wall in Dorset
A dog that was dumped over a garden wall “covered in blood” by a woman who covered her face in a scarf has died.
The RSPCA said the crossbreed terrier, called Molly, had a “severe infection” and was on the “verge of death” when she was discovered.
A resident in Days Court, Wimborne, Dorset, spotted a woman dropping the dog in her garden before running off and driving away in a van.
The charity confirmed earlier that vets were forced to put her down.
Severely infected womb
A spokeswoman said she was “really sad” to give the news that although they “tried really hard to save her unfortunately she was very unwell and had to be put to sleep on veterinary advice”.
