Pretty safe actually, really! Engine works fine, wings stay on mostly and the pilots know what they are doing. Only one slight problem, they can't seem to stop getting blown up! Philippine Airlines has had 3 bombs explode on board since it was founded. Now that's a bit much don't you think? They have been involved in 6 fatal accidents total.
4. Iran Air
Banned from the EU in 2010 and "good" for 5 fatal accidents in the last 35 years, one of which killed almost 300 people. Truth be told, the USA can be blamed for their bad reputation too. They might have dodged this top 5 if it wasn't for a crash in 2002 involving a plane that was set to be written of the next month. In 1980 there had been some inadequate repair work done on the plane, causing it to crash 22 years later. 225 people died. It is one of 6 fatal accidents in China Airlines history.
