Top 5 Stupidest Bank Robbers. These are the stupidest bank robbers we could find! These 5 stupid thieves were robbing banks without much of a plan or at least without one that made ANY sense.
5. Hannah Sabatah
After Hannah robbed a bank, she posted a video on YouTube. The video was titled “Chick Bank robber.” In the description, Hannah went on to say, “I just stole a car and robbed a bank. Now I’m rich, I can pay off my college financial aid and tomorrow I’m going for a shopping spree. Bite me. I love GREENDAY!” Obviously, Hannah got caught and the video went viral. 4. Patrick Johnson
Patrick Johnson entered a Bank of America branch in Ocala, Florida. He handed over a note explaining that he was equipped with a .45 caliber pistol and wanted money. He then changed outfits and robbed a second bank. The question is: Why would you bother changing outfits if the holdup notes that you are using are written on the back of your own personal checks that have your full name, address and bank details on them?
3. Anthony Prince and Luke Carroll
AKA "Dumb and Dumber". Both teenagers worked at a sports store in Vail, Colorado. They went inside the bank with their faces covered and… Their name tags still on! They made it out with $132.000 but the euphoria didn’t last long. They left quite the trail. They tipped a taxi driver $20.000, took snaps of themselves with the money and bought a Rolex using cash in a nearby store. Believe it or not, but they ended up getting caught!
2. Matthew Dale Hudleston
According to his plea agreement, Hudleston walked up to a Regions Bank teller on Oct. 22 and slipped her a note saying: “I have a gun. Do not alert anyone. No alarms, no dye packs, give me all the money in your drawer. You have 15 seconds, do not panic or alert anyone.” Hudleston, 33, left with $9,945. All he had to do now was not return to retrieve the holdup note! But he did and got arrested…
1. Albert Bailey
So much stupidity in a single video… Albert Bailey phoned the People’s Bank in Fairfield, Connecticut and ordered an employee to prepare for his arrival. He instructed the teller to collect $100,000 for him, sans dye pack, and claimed there would be a “blood bath” if his demands were not met. Much to his surprise, the police were waiting for him when he arrived and he was arrested. Come one man!
