  Sereno IT Support<\/a> has reached a significant cybersecurity milestone in its business and has been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification, a UK government-backed, industry-supported certification for cybersecurity.<\/p>\n

  The certification demonstrates that the company’s policies and procedures are strong enough to protect against cyber threats. CE+ requires independent verification by an external auditor who conducts a series of technical assessments to ensure the company is protected against various attack scenarios. The evaluation assessed:<\/p>\n

  • Boundary firewalls<\/li>\n
  • Secure asset configuration<\/li>\n
  • Patch management<\/li>\n
  • User access controls<\/li>\n
  • Malware protection<\/li>\n
  • Mobile assets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    IASME<\/a>, an independent certifying body for the Cyber Essentials programme, awarded the certification, renewable every 12 months. In total, around 1000 digital assets were in the scope of the evaluation.<\/p>\n
