Bristol-based WorldRoots Acappella, a festival favourite, is celebrating 20 years of unforgettable performances and community impact.
If you’re aged 12 or older, have a passion for singing, or are looking to discover your voice, then WorldRoots
is calling you – with the opportunity to perform at major events, including the iconic Glastonbury Festival!
Founded in 2005, WorldRoots
is a vibrant youth vocal ensemble renowned for their immersive, walkabout performances. Over the years, they have brought their dynamic sound to some of the most respected festivals and events in the region, including Glastonbury, WOMAD, Shambala, and even Aardman Animations’ 30th anniversary party. They’ve also performed at exclusive private events for Sting & Trudie Styler at their home, delivering their signature emotional a cappella experiences and hosted a world music a cappella singing weekend for young at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.
In celebration of their 20th year, WorldRoots Acappella is seeking new members to join the ensemble and continue their tradition of creating moving, one-of-a-kind musical experiences.
At festival and events, WorldRoots’ ‘SongRaids & SoundBaths’ walkabout act is a standout feature – offering an immersive a cappella experience that surrounds audiences with unique arrangements of soulful songs from around the world. These performances are designed to create emotional impact and transport listeners into an unforgettable atmosphere.

There’s no audition required – just come and join the fun! Choose between the non-performance group, perfect for those who want to practice regularly with others, or the performance group, for those ready to take the stage (or field).
